Virginia’s GOP Super Tuesday Results

I posed an hypothesis a few days ago, regarding the success potential for the Donald Trump campaign this primary season, but without data it was little more than sophistry. Super Tuesday has made Trump’s likelihood of (at the very least) getting the closest of the Republican contenders to the 1,237 Delegate benchmark that would secure his nomination at the Convention this July. The sheer size of the data set available to analyze now is staggering, and I’ve decided to start with a look at the results from the Virginia Primary. Just the Republicans, this time, though I might well add the Democratic Primary later.
